Laura Lee Bacon - Physical Therapy
A Whole Body Approach To Rehabilitation
After graduating from Boston University in 1995, I worked in a variety of settings including acute care, and inpatient and outpatient settings before opening her own practice in 2002.
As a physical therapist of thirty years, I have devoted myself to studying and specializing in a numerous rehabilitation techniques, from joint mobility to neuromuscular stabilization to the art of healthy movement patterns for life. Recently, my focus has shifted to continuing education on lower extremity function with an emphasis on the foot. During sessions, I evaluate my clients' movement patterns and help bring awareness to gait mechanics that can be contributing to pain. Foot health and proper foot mechanics play a key role in how the body aligns itself and can be a key to eliminating poor repetitive movement patterns that may contribute to orthopedic pain or injury.
Committed to changing the conversation around aging and fragility, I want to empower you to live boldly and resist the idea that you lives and options must shrink with age.
